Rod Jones founded GST Management, LLC in 2019. GST, short for Global Systematic Trading, is a quantitative asset management company that adds value allocating capital to index products that are important sources of global equity market return. The genesis for the company is the belief that technology, data science and algorithms can materially improve investment returns and mitigate portfolio losses relative to important benchmarks used by investors.

Prior to GST Management, LLC, Rod was head of North America for STOXX Limited, a global index provider headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland. In 2010, Rod founded the North American office in New York City and built a multi-million dollar revenue business with billions of AUM managed against STOXX index strategies. Prior to STOXX, Rod was head of the primary U.S. broker dealer and hedge fund sales and client service at Barra, Inc. a subsidiary of Morgan Stanley in New York City. Before that, Rod held various analyst positions at Russell Investment Group in Tacoma, Washington. In his last position, Rod was an analyst in Russell’s renowned pension consulting group helping some of the world’s largest asset owners make strategic investment decisions.
